Welcome to Dumfries Bike Shed
We are a small not for profit group providing second hand bikes in Dumfries. Seeing bikes being used and people using bikes makes us happy! We take unused bikes, repair them and sell them at an affordable price to people needing a practical, every day bike. Some of the more specialist or vintage bikes we’ll sell at a higher price to help fund our low cost bikes.
As well as selling to individuals we use funding to work with local organisations providing bikes and equipment to groups with specific needs. If you work or volunteer with a local group and are looking for support with cycling, please get in touch via our contact page.
We are open Wednesday 25th September 2024 between 4pm and 6pm. Take a look and try some of our second hand bikes. We’re based in Browne House at The Crichton, Dumfries. See our Contact Us page for our exact location. You can also browse our current selection of bikes on our shop page. Please note, our products are collection only. If you buy a bike via the website, we’ll get in touch to arrange a time for you to come and collect it. If you wish to donate a bike, please contact us first via the form on the Contact Us page.
